The new-old faces in the cabin are players that came back from Prešov Issa Adekunle and Maduka Udeh. The newcomers are the serbian defender Jovan Pavlovič and the dutch midfielder Joey Sleegers. The first named signed a contract already in the last year in October, the second one is about to sign long term contract. Also the youngster Jakub Kadák is training with the first team, who signed a contract only recently.
The only one missing was Milan Kvocera, who is attending the training camp in Greece with Slovak representants team under 20. An individual training was assigned to Filip Halgoš after his injury. In addition also Rodney Klooster was missing, who left to second league FC Eindhoven, Rangelo Janga is already training with KAA Gent and Ricky van Haaren decided to move to Slovan Bratislava.
AS Trenčín will play six friendly matches in the pre-season. The first official friendly match will be played on saturday 13th of January against Baník Ostrava on their home pitch. The first home friendly match will be played one week later on 20th January. We will play against Nové Mesto nad Váhom. Half of them will be played during a traditional training camp in Turkey, in the city Belek. The A-team will travel there on 24. January. Return is scheduled on 3. February. Our opponents will be Hajduk Split (27. January), Dinamo Moskva (30. January) and Napredak Kruševac (2. February). Before the start of the spring part, which is scheduled on 17. February, we will play against Inter Bratislava on our home pitch on 10. February.
