Šulek and Klooster agreed, the second half was not good, red cards undeserved

„The first half wasn’t bad from us. We scored the first goal and we weren’t letting the opponents to play. However a penalty came, which surprised us. It happened, we moved on. The second half was bad,“ remembered a weekend’s match against Spartak Trnava (2:1) Rodney Klooster.

The same opinion had his teammate from defense Martin Šulek. „In the first half we didn’t let them into game. In the second half the game was played on both sides of the pitch. We didn’t show the quality from the first half. We looked disordered and we couldn’t get into tempo,“ said 19 years old fosterling, who addressed more than 80% of his passes right and won 2/3 of his tackles.

The team lead by Martin Ševela conceded 5 goals in three league matches. The only worse teams in this statistic are Senica, Prešov and Žilina. „It is a lot for three matches. Although, the goals weren’t scored after a nice actions. They didn’t get us under pressure. It were mostly lucky strikes. The truth is, that we concede a goal from almost every chance. I don’t understand that. We have two home matches ahead of us and that’s where we have two break this curse. We want 6 points and nothing less,“ said Šulek.

Young defender got at the end of the match red card. Also Klooster got red card. Both, after some time, calming down and watching a record of the match, feel aggrieved and damaged by referee. „I accept the first yellow card, but the second was made up. I took the ball from an attacker, who bumped to me afterwards. I doubt it was a foul at all,“ said Klooster and Šulek added: „I have nothing against the first yellow card, I stood into his line of run. Although he didn’t try to evade me at all, it was a foul. The second yellow was undeserved, even if the referee looked at that situation with a very strict meter.“
