One of our scorers in the first match at camp in Turkey was Jakub Holubek. His goal turned out to be a winning goal (2:1). Today, not only Corgon League goalkeepers but also our Monday opponent know the qualities of his left foot.

„The shot was gently deflected, but I think it would have finished to the net anyway,“ sais with conviction Jakub Holubek. „Coaches want me to shot more often. I know they are right. I try to work on it.“

At the beggining of the camp we played to club with European competiton experiences. The quality of the match was at big level and the temp was also very high. Anyway, our team was better prepared both in physical and build-up play way. „We expected more battles and aggresivity from Romanians,“ confirmed Holubek.

The victory came after five lost games in a row. „We did not perceive that. We prepare for league competition and learn new things so it is better to lose now than in competition match,“ said AS Trencin prospect and added: „We started very well. We did not allow them anything in the first half.“

In previous matches we conceded many goals. Volesak could have kept clean sheet but at the end of match came controversial penalty. „We wanted clean sheet. It was one of our goals. I am glad we almost did that. Everybody was very responsible. We played our game and were thourough and aggresive enough. When we were under the pressure we handled with it very well.“
