Filip Hlohovský and Tomáš Peciar, two players of AS Trenčín who grew up in Prievidza, will play against their original club on Saturday. It is going to be a special game for both. “From my junior times, I have dreamt to once play against Prievidza where I grew up. It is going to be a specific match for me and I want to show off. Our clear goal is to win;” said the young wing Hlohovský before the weekend’s league game.

Tomáš Peciar, one of the latest succors of AS, has even more information about the upcoming rival. Last time he played in Prievidza was just a year ago after he had come through all of the youth categories of the club. Because of his study duties, he then had to move to Senec where he played second league as a guest player. “I am looking forward to playing against my friends. I played with a lot of them in the youth categories of Prievidza.”

Also the second youngster in the jersey of AS coming from Prievidza clearly believes in success on Saturday. “We will definitely go for a victory. We ended the bad series in Rimavská Sobota, now we have to break it definitively;” said Peciar.

“We have to take care mainly of Maruniak. He can time the jump well and wins a lot of headers. A lot of centers will be directed to him. We also have to be careful of Kubík who is very fast as well as of Gula, a succor from Inter Bratislava very well directing their play. We can definitely not underestimate them;” added the tall sweeper of AS.
