We won 15 out of 19 games during autumn and we have 7-point lead ahead of Slovan Bratislava. „The second part of this extremely interesting season for us is starting. I am glad that for the first time we are in the position of a leader. We will be surely valuable triumph for every team and all the competitors will prepare for us more thouroughly than before. Our long-term work has brought some outcomes. We managed to make some interesting transfers and name of our club and whole Slovak football has improved. Our priority, however, remains to build new football stadium and infrastructure. It is more than to fight for title and Slovak cup. Of course, results and everything around help us, but priority is very clear,“ said Rybnicek.
In the pre-season we experienced two camps in Czech Republic and Turkey. Accoring to the coach Martin Sevela we bet on the quality of opponents. „The main idea of winter pre-season was to play against top teams. We learnt also from the past that only difficult games push us forward. I am really satisfied with it and the players also proved they still want to make progress. I always claim that the best training is to play a game. We have no injuries, only Rundic will miss the spring part due to knee problem. We are ready for the league and cannot wait to play,“ revealed Sevela.
