More than twenty footballers were at coach disposal during the four days meeting in Poprad. They attended five trainings and within one of them they also played a training match. “Everything went well. We are fully satisfied with conditions and environment of this meeting. The approach of the players was also very good. Women have looked very promising and I believe that some of them in the near future will play in national team.” said Coach of the Slovakian women’s national football team Zsolt Pakusza.
This year it was probably the last meeting for players who are in the shortlist to play for national team. However, Coach hopes that he can push through the idea to set up the national team U23. “Slovakia as a small association would benefit from this so as the whole woman football”, added Pakusza.
We bring you an interview with both of our players who attended the meeting in Poprad and made a very good impression there.
