The club AS Trenčín supported through their long term charity program fifteen organisations or individuals this year. As usual amongst the supported are Domov sociálnych služieb Demy, Domov sociálnych služieb Nosice, Spojená škola internátna Trenčín alebo OZ Autis. We have supported also Livka, OZ Kolobeh života, project Rozžiarme detské tváre, Svetielko nádeje and many more. For the first time we supported Spojená Škola internátna in Nové Mesto nad Váhom and for the second time Kliniku pediatrie a neonatológie in Trenčín.
„A big thanks belongs to all partners and attendants of the project, without which we wouldn’t be ale to help. Especially to our general partner Slovenské elektrárne,“ said the event manager of AS Trenčín Petra Drábová and continued: „The joint afternoon was not only about a financial give away, but also about a mutual meeting of all, who supported this project and the receivers of their help. Alike meetings give our project meaning and energy to us to organise another volume of this project.“
We are trying to support many different groups of people. Also this year our help was aimed mainly to a handicapped, children fighting against many dangerous diseases or children, who lost their parents. We tried to help also the people fighting their alcohol or drug addiction. „Meetings with children or young people are always inspiring. It’s mostly them, who shows us, what is important in life. Many times we had discovered, that nothing is impossible,“ added Petra Drábová.
One edition of Stars for children is closing, yet another is already being prepared. The charity project of our club is gonna have a 10 years anniversary. With a reference to this occasion we are preparing an exclusive calendar for the year 2018 at the end of the year.
