We have started the winter preparations with altered executive team

AS Trenčín started the winter preparation for the spring part of the year 2018/2019 under the guidance of coach Vladimír Cifranič. There have been two changes in the team. Juraj Ančic was replaced as an assistant of the coach by Richard Slezák, who was last seen on the bench of Inter Bratislava. German team coach Matthias Kohler, who will act as a consultant, extended the executive team. Goalkeepers´ trainer remains Tomáš Belic and technical assistant remains Gideon van der Wee.

The new executive team had 25 players ready at their first training. The next four will join the team on Tuesday and Martin Šulek will joing after the camp of U21 representants. Three new names appeared on the training. Three new players - wingers Alvin Fortes, Andy Kawaya and defender Jeffrey Neral - joined the preparations.

"Our ambition is to improve our gameplay and results. We don´t want to talk about the table position, but if there is a chance, we will try to get to the first six," said Cifranič at the beginning of the preparations.

We will play nine games during the winter preparations. Four of them will be played during a camp in Turkish Belek. We will start the preparations on 12 January with two matches against Sigma Olomouc. The main match before the spring part of the Fortuna League will be a duel against Austria Vienna in Vienna.
