Players of AS Trenčín made sure to make their farewell to the training camp in Uherské Hradiště pleasant. Adrián Guľa’s team won 1:0 against Opava. The only goal of the game was scored by the 17-year-old youngster Tomáš Malec.

Kubík shot dangerously already in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper of Opava batted the ball. The rival responded after quarter-hour. Rožník saved after their good action. In the 30th minute, there came another good chance for Kubík. His angle-shot however only hit the goalkeeper’s legs.

In the 70th minute, Straka’s accurate cross pass found Mazán whose clever ending was liquidated by an outstanding save of the goalie. In the 78th minute, Straka sent a forceful shot, Malec received the rebound after another sharp reaction of the goalkeeper, but wasn’t able to score yet. His moment came in another 60 seconds. Mazán took the ball from the rival, passed forward to Malec who scored the only goal of the game. Trenčín defeated Opava 1:0. The final pre-season match of AS is going to take place next week in Žilina against MŠK.
