The preparation process of the project has taken more than two years. It’s becoming reality today so the club can start building the necessary training background. The new modern football center is to be developed in the communal parcels of Trenčianske Stankovce during the upcoming eight years.
“It’s one of the most important projects for the club since the entry of the investors from the Netherlands. I’m glad that we can start working on it in spite of this difficult economic situation. It’s a kind of risky, but we believe that it will be mutually beneficial,“ said general manager Róbert Rybníček and continued, “We believe that the signing of the contract is just a beginning of our cooperation. Not only the club, but the village as well as its surroundings will profit from it.“
The club intends to help building new opportunities in today’s local Relax Center. “We’re looking for space for cooperation. Professionalization of the club continues and this is one of the things that belong to it. We’d like to create background for the local football community, but also for the youth and all people who are living in Trenčianske Stankovce,“ said the club’s executive. “We strongly believe that we’ll be able to accomplish our goals.”
The preparatory processes for building of playgrounds have already begun. “It’s difficult to set some detailed plan today. We have to take over the current area first and resolve the most important issues related to its functioning. Further steps will follow. We want to start with two playgrounds with artificial surface. First of them should be ready by 2013. Economic development is an important factor. We’ll see how soon we can get the necessary financial coverage for the complete project. There’s a chance to finance it through the EU funds as well as through the development funds of UEFA or FIFA respectively. There should eventually be five or six playgrounds in the center. The contract on cooperation with Trenčianske Stankovce is signed for at least eight years. This is the timeframe for us to build a solid background for the club and the local community, concluded Rybníček.
